A quick post on a restaurant that we dined at the other day called "La Botellita". This place is right near the church in el Centro. We were ushered in by a zealous person out front and the menu looked good.
I have to say, when we went in, the disco-like decorations and loud 80's music (ABBA, really) was a bit of a deterrent but we decided to tough it out. We happened to arrive during happy hour, so 3 margaritas later, we were really liking the place.

So far we have not had a bad meal here in Guanajuato. We have cooked most of our breakfasts here at the apartment and Mike made me a delicious flautas dinner last night. By the way, the entire meal above included 6 margaritas, 2 mineral waters, 2 dinners, an appetizer and dessert for about $40 USD. Considering this was a touristy restaurant it was still cheap compared to a night out in Flagstaff, Arizona.
